Inclusive Scouting, an Evolving Process
In collaboration with the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Inclusion and Family, The National Federation of Moroccan Scouting hosts the National Forum of Inclusive Scouting at 10 A.M. in the 23rd of February 2022, in the Palace of Congress “Bouregreg” in the City of Salè.
The forum presided over by the minister Mrs. Aawatif Hayar, will be attended by the regional director of the Arab Region Scouting & secretary-general to the Arab Scout Organization Mr. Amr Hamdy, as well as several governmental and civilian figured, presidents and representatives from partner bodies and institutions to the Federation.
The program of the Forum includes a formal opening session during which a presentation on the strategies of Inclusive Scouting will take place, in addition to signing an agreement of cooperation & partnership with the Mohammed VI National Centre for the Disabled, and the Moroccan Special Olympics. The following session will be allocated to presenting sundry paperwork from active partners in the field of inclusion of the differently-abled individuals. The closure of the Forum will include a session to discuss, interact, and present any conclusions it recommendations.
It is to be noted that the National Federation of Moroccan Scouting, presided over by His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, is bound by an agreement of cooperation & partnership to the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Inclusion and Family, which was signed on the 6th of December 2019, on the theme Inclusive Scouting for the Differently Abled, and aims to construct an advanced program in allowing people with disabilities to practice their rights to educational & Scout training through field practice that takes into account their abilities and rights.
